TWIN CITIES, MN - Church leaders and Congregations were growing concerned with the passing of flu germs and other life threatening microorganisms when receiving communion. An expected 30 percent of congregations were even expected to stop receiving communion during the flu season. The embarrassment of not participating in communion prevented some congregants from attending church, resulting in fewer donations to support the work of the church. With church attendance on the decline, churches were looking for new ways to increase attendance. Purity Solutions host dispenser was the answer.
In 1987, Jerry Klinger, formed a company Purity Solutions where he created the solution. Jerry Klinger validated this problem with the clergy and after 4 years of research developed a innovative solution and his dream created a germ-free dispenser for the distribution of the body and blood of Christ.
Jerry had his own reasons for further pursuing his dream. He was a diligent churchgoer, as was his family. In the later years, his mother became ill and was not able to attend church. His earlier inventions were that of a self-communion delivery system that allowed communion to be received easily at any time and location. During the process of developing his communion system, his mother passed on. However, this did not stop him in pursuing his dream. The Purity host dispenser was developed and is now a unique one-of-a-kind product innovation. This unique product offers seamless system that would help many faiths distribute communion wafers to their congregation, germ-free.
The Purity Host dispenser not only prevents the passing of germs, it also prevents against airborne contaminants. It reduces time and personnel needed to provide communion by as much as 50 percent and beautifully designed to preserve the holiness of sacrament while dispensing up to 140 communion hosts without having to refill. The dispenser is easy to reload, eliminates spills and waste, and is portable to deliver communion to those otherwise unable to attend mass.
Jerry Klinger took ill in 2008 and passed away in November 2008. Purity Solutions family has taken on the mission and his dream to market this product.
